Hey, you have absolutely no idea who I am, but you can call me Amanda's crazy roommate. I was reading your post about Egytian dating and it reminded me that my cousin once went to Egypt with my aunt and uncle and they were offered 14 camels for her. Is that a lot?
Jessy, They were probably joking when they offered 14 camels for her. Egyptians have a keen sense of humor and are always joking around. Portions of gold are given to the women when they get engaged these days. No camels, no goats, not even sheep. You'll have to go to the UAE if you want to get offered camels for marriage. Apparently they still do that there.
